As a result of the potential life saving requirements of FD30s doors, they should only be installed by a qualified fire door installer.
Worksop Composite Doors' team of qualified door fitters, have installed thousands of Composite Fire Doors over the years. The majority of the fire door jobs we completed are results of lease holders having received letters from Sheffield, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Councils stating that their existing doors do not meet the current safety regulations.
Our team of door fitters are registered City & Guilds Fire Door Inspectors and UKAS Accredited FireQual Fire Door Installaters. This means that we are able to self-certify our work.
.
The FD30s composite fire doors that we install are certified with smoke seals and intumescent strips, which are tested by Warringtonfire and Certifire. All of our fire doors are tested bi-directionally (tested on both sides against smoke and fire) to British Standard BS 476:1987, parts 22 and 31.
The externally rated fire doors that we fit are tested the EN1634-1.
We can also install our external fire doors internally if required.
For all of our fire doors we off a full installation warranty and up to 10 years manufacturer's warranty.
Both types of our fire doors come as full door sets. This means that the doors will come with a new door frame, CE marked hinges, handles, locks, intumescent strips, smoke seals and an automatic overhead self door closer (concealed door closers are available too). In addition to this, we do offer other hardware options such as fire rated letter plates and door knockers (please see below).
Both types of our fire doors come with a Warrintonfire Certifire certificate and a UKAS approved FireQual Fire Door installation certificate.
We can also provide a Dual Certification, which includes Secured by Design and PAS 24 certification for externally rated fire doors.
Internally rated fire doors can be made to the same design standards, but they do not come with the certification.
Our team are also qualified to carry out City & Guilds certified fire door inspections.
If you require a fire door inspection our starting price is £165 including VAT.
(This price may vary depending on your location and the quantity of doors needing to be inspected.)
The glass options available for our externally rated fire doors are clear or stippolyte (obscure) pyroglass.
The prices shown on the door designs above are to be added to the base price shown above.
Our internally rated fire doors are available with either clear, stippolyte (obscure glass) or satin (frosted glass) pyrodur glass.
The prices shown on the door designs above are to be added to the baseline prices shown above.
All of the prices below include VAT:
If you require a topbox/toplight/fanlight this would cost an additional £550 and is currently only available on our externally rated fire doors, however these can be fitted internally.
